Desagro, S.L. was acquired by Al Dahra for the purchase and distribution of high quality fodder.
Further to expansion in operations, the company formed two units
DESARROLLOS AGROALIMENTARIOS, S.L. - A company dedicated to the purchase of agricultural products for transformation. The fodder is developed in an alfalfa dryer located in the irrigated area of the Ebro Valley,in the Monegros II region. The alfalfa is cultivated within the provinces of Zaragoza and Huesca
DESARROLLOS SOYN, S.L. is responsible for the sale and commercialization of the products made by Desarrollos Agroalimentarios, S.L. Its strategic location, in Bujaraloz, Zaragoza eases the transportation of materials. It is just 1km from the main road between Madrid and Barcelona, (AP2 and N-II). Presently, dried alfalfa is sold in bales of 750 kilos, measuring 220 x 110 x 85 cms.

Then, cutting order is established and incorporated on the plots. In order to obtain the best alfalfa it is essential to carry out quality checks, right from the field till its reception at the factory. Specialized technicians carry out control and growth checks to determine the optimum moment for harvesting and collection. Simultaneously, they are vigilant for possible plagues that might be present in the plots of land.
The operation begins with the identification of the contracted area. This is followed by the cutting cycle. Then cutting order is established and incorporated on the plots. The cut up alfalfa is received the factory, to be further processed to the final high quality product.
