Careers Business Strategy and Transformation Manager

The successful candidate will be part of Al Dahra’s Strategy and Transformation team and will be supporting the business units in Egypt with the ongoing strategy definition and transformation under the direct of the corporate business unit’s Strategy and Transformation and the local teams. The position provides a great opportunity to interact with and learn from key leaders across the organization. The position will report to the Strategy Director in HQ.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics or engineering preferred
- 7-10 years’ total experience in consulting, business development, strategy, or strategic planning; familiarity with agriculture and food industry is a plus
- Should be proficient in Excel financial modeling and in creating PowerPoint presentations
- Market research and competitive analysis skills
- Experience in execution of initiatives and plans
- Demonstrated capacity to perform in a fast-paced work environment
Research / Competitive Intelligence
- Identify and monitor key trends across Al Dahra’s landscape and ecosystem
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data to form externally informed, actionable insights and enterprise wide outlooks that are then used to formulate corporate strategy
Strategic Planning
- Perform both internal and external strategic analyses to become better informed about current business conditions
- Funnel insights (industry, business, competitive analysis) to facilitate strategic plan development
- Develop scenarios centered around variations in business outlook and assess strategic responses including capital allocation
Business Partnering
- Perform the role of an in-house business consultant; Partner with teams across the local BUs to facilitate Deep-Dive analyses into selected topics
- Assess strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats; research and analyze relevant industries, markets, trends to identify strategies and transformation needs
Performance Management and Executive Communication
- Assist in executing the Strategic Plan by supporting transformation initiatives and by facilitating tracking and reporting of key performance metrics
- Identify performance gaps and facilitate coordinated actions to address issues
- Develop content that will be included in executive and board level presentations
- Support with improving the overall performance of the business units in scope
