The United Arab Emirates and China have enjoyed more than 35 years of strong bilateral relations, with about 55 billion dollars trading volume between the two nations and an average annual growth rate of 16%. Today, the UAE is considered as the first trading partner with China from the GCC region and we aim at futher growing and strengthening our relations going forward”.

In turn, HE Khadim Al Darei, Vice Chairman and Managing Director of Al Dahra Holding commented: “Al Dahra has made widespread global investments in agriculture; giving it a strong position to supply Feed and Food products all year-round without interruptions and from various origins, hence mitigating any trade risks. Similarly, the vertically integrated investment approach that we have adopted allow us to gain control over the entire supply chain from farming to delivery to the end-consumer and to ensure the application of stringent quality measures. Today, we are able to put our global capabilities at the service of the Chinese market and consumers and to further strengthen the bond with our trading partners. Not only do we understand the particularities of the market and the domestic safety regulations, we ensure that the requirements of the Chinese market are catered for from the farming and production phase”.

Whilst Al Dahra Holding has been serving the Chinese market for more than a decade through its various subsidiaries, the event was meant to reconfirm Al Dahra’s commitment towards the Chinese market and the Chinese consumer.

The event was held at the Westin Beijing Chaoyang hotel and is considered as one of a series of other symposiums to be organized by Al Dahra Holding in the future.
